Pandemic teaching, civil unrest and re-evaluating how our students of color should be educated presents many complicated tasks for our profession. Let’s discuss and construct a blueprint of how we can infuse thoughtful Care and Curriculum changes to make the complicated achievable, as we explore 6 key themes:
Care
- Speaking Truth with Compassion
- Make Time to Invite Families
- Advocate for Academic Pursuits
Curriculum
- Inject Student Input
- Adjustments have to be made
- Mathematical Rigor

We’ll finish thinking about what you can do as educators, with opportunities to share your experiences and create strategies to strengthen your own practice.
